He originally hails from the frozen tundra of Minnesota where he first picked up a video camera to tell stories as a young boy with an overactive imagination.

His television journalism work has appeared on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, The Today Show, CNN and MSNBC among other networks and affiliates around the country.
His feature film "Unconscious" was finished in 2012 and has become a local cult-classic among the Flagstaff community. "Unconscious" has also played in many film festivals from coast to coast including fests in Los Angeles and New York City. Stephen is also a playwright and is currently writing the book, music and lyrics for a musical theatre production currently titled Playhouse the Musical.
